Burgas hosts 10th anniversary Bulgaria-Turkey youth art exhibition

The tenth anniversary of the international exhibition ‘Bulgaria – Turkey: A Bridge Between Cultures’ is set to open on October 28 at the NHK Cultural House in Burgas. The event features works by 87 young artists from both nations, aiming to promote friendship, good neighborliness, and shared cultural values through art.

Participants include students from the Yulia Krasovska Art School in Burgas and the Doryan Art studio from Izmir. The organizers, including architect Yulia Krasovska, international gallerist Cem Angelos Yustuner, and Yasemin Doryan, describe the initiative as a testament to lasting cultural cooperation that transcends national borders.

The opening ceremony will include performances by Bulgarian and Turkish folk artists, such as soloist Yavora Dzhisova from the Nikola Ginov Folk Dance Ensemble and a Turkish folk group from the village of Snyagovo.
