Burgas hosts youth training on health and early marriage prevention

The Youth International Center in the Meden Rudnik district of Burgas will host a comprehensive training initiative from September 8 to 11. Now in its fifth year, the program is titled ‘Campus for Health and Prevention of Early Marriages.’

The initiative is designed to support young people facing educational or financial challenges. The curriculum includes practical workshops, sports activities, and direct dialogue with experts to encourage healthy lifestyle choices and informed decision-making.

Key educational modules focus on the prevention of early marriages, first aid, healthy living habits, and the importance of education. Participating students will come from several local institutions, including Hristo Botev Primary School, Vasil Levski Primary School, a professional technical high school, and Hristo Botev Primary School in Zidarovo. Guest lecturers include experts such as Rositsa Dimova, teacher Bozhidar Atanasov, Roma educational mediator Donka Kyoseva, illusionist Yordan Yanev - Zain, and representatives from the Bulgarian Red Cross - Burgas.
