Burger competitions held in Almería and Cádiz

Various burger competitions are taking place across Spain. In Almería, The Burger Cup will be held at the Torrecárdenas Shopping Center from October 30 to November 8, 2026. The event features ten competing establishments, including Lame, Gosso, Vulcano Grill, Arde, Burger Lab, Capitano, Cívico, Madú, Hype, and SixSeven. The competition relies on public voting, where attendees taste different styles ranging from smash burgers to more substantial creations to decide the winner.

In the province of Cádiz, establishments in Villamartín, El Puerto de Santa María, and Conil de la Frontera are competing for The Golden Ibérica Burger 2026. Candidates such as ‘La Despeiná’ from La Mona Grill & Show in Conil and ‘Trinity Bacon’ from Locura in Villamartín are among the entries. The voting period for this competition runs until November 22, with finalists to be announced for a final held on December 1 and 2.
