Burger King expands in Japan with new locations in Tsukuba and Noda
Burger King is continuing its expansion in Japan, with new locations opening in Chiba and Ibaraki prefectures.
A new branch is scheduled to open in late October at the Soyora Tsukuba Gakuen-no-mori in Tsukuba City, providing more convenience for residents in the Kenkyu-gakuen area.
In Noda City, Chiba, the recently opened 16-Go Noda branch has drawn significant attention due to its unique architecture. Located on Route 16, the restaurant features a traditional Japanese-style tiled roof, a stark contrast to the typical Western aesthetic of the American fast-food chain. The building previously housed various dining establishments, including a tonkatsu restaurant and a sushi-related business, before being repurposed for Burger King.
