Burger King revamps chicken nuggets to address customer feedback

Burger King has launched a revamped version of its chicken nuggets in response to customer feedback describing previous iterations as “rubbery,” “dry,” and “disappointing.” The updated recipe, released on September 1, features a crispier texture and a more flavorful marinade, and is now served in new cardboard clamshell packaging.

This menu update is part of a broader effort by the chain to elevate its existing food offerings and improve the restaurant experience. This follows a recent update to the Whopper, which included a new bun and creamier mayonnaise. According to Burger King's chief marketing officer Joel Yashinsky, the company is focusing on both menu innovation and upgrading its core menu items.

In a broader look at the fast-food sector, other chains are also adjusting their chicken offerings. McDonald's recently brought back its Spicy Chicken McNuggets for a limited time, while comparisons of various chain nuggets highlight differing consumer experiences regarding texture and seasoning across brands like Wendy's and KFC.
