Burger King to launch new chicken nugget recipe in the US
Burger King is launching a major overhaul of its chicken nuggets in the United States, effective September 1. The update aims to address customer criticisms regarding the previous version's texture and quality. In the second quarter of 2026, Burger King reported an 8.5 percent increase in comparable US sales, outperforming McDonald's 0.8 percent growth and Wendy's 7 percent decline. Consequently, Burger King has overtaken Wendy's to become the second-largest burger chain in the US by system sales.
