Burger King unveils UK Texas BBQ burgers and US Whopper remake guarantee

Burger King is adding a limited‑time Texas BBQ King range to its UK menu. From 21 July, diners can choose a Double Texan BBQ King with two British‑Irish beef patties or a Texan BBQ King Chicken, both served with American cheese, crispy onions, lettuce, pickles, BBQ sauce and mayo on a sesame‑seed bun. The launch coincides with the return of the Gourmet Kings Bacon Caesar Collection and two‑day Buy‑One‑Get‑One‑Free offers for each range.

In North America, the chain introduced a Whopper Guarantee as part of its "There's A New King And It’s You" campaign. Customers who are dissatisfied with their Whopper can have it remade immediately and receive a free next Whopper. The initiative also creates a "Your Way Champion" role to ensure orders meet customer specifications. The policy follows a customer‑feedback drive that helped lift comparable sales 5.8% in the first quarter.
