Burgos-Burpellet-BH signs French cyclist Thomas Bonnet

French cyclist Thomas Bonnet has signed a one-year contract with the Burgos-Burpellet-BH team for the 2027 season. The 27-year-old rider joins the Spanish squad from TotalEnergies, where he spent the last four years.

Bonnet is noted for his ability in medium mountain climbs, puncher-style finishes, and one-day races. His professional career includes stage wins at the Tour de Guadalupe and the Tour Rwanda, as well as a sixth-place finish in the general classification of the 2026 Arctic Race of Norway.

Before transitioning to road cycling in 2018, Bonnet had a successful career in cyclocross and mountain biking, notably winning the junior XCO World Championship and the European junior XCO title.
