Burgos receives infrastructure and rural development support

Tamaulipas Governor Américo Villarreal Anaya announced several development initiatives for the municipality of Burgos during the second report of municipal president Marco Polo Garza Martínez. The state government is focusing on supporting the region's rural vocation through improved roads, increased access to services, and infrastructure projects, including three specific packages for paving and road rehabilitation.

In the education sector, the governor reported the delivery of 2,314 school supply kits and a similar number of uniforms, alongside advancements in scholarship coverage and technological updates for remote schools. To support the rural economy, the administration is providing aid for seeds, diesel, sorghum commercialization, and water conservation. Additional economic support includes microcredits, housing improvements, and programs such as Credibienestar and Hecho en Tamaulipas.
