Burhanettin Duran condemns raids at Al-Aqsa Mosque

Turkish Communications Director Burhanettin Duran has strongly condemned raids conducted under the protection of Israeli occupation forces at the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Duran stated that any provocation directed at the site is an unacceptable attack targeting the historical and legal status of Jerusalem.

In a social media statement, Duran emphasized that such actions escalate tensions, disregard the sanctity of holy sites, and undermine regional stability and peace efforts. He described Jerusalem as a shared geography for all monotheistic religions and Al-Aqsa as a common sanctuary for Muslims and a heritage for all humanity.

Citing President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Duran reiterated that the Al-Aqsa Mosque is a ‘red line’ for Turkey. He affirmed Turkey's commitment to defending the rights of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa and expressed continued solidarity with the Palestinian people.
