Burhanpur child visits police station to complain about mother

A video from 2022 involving a three-year-old boy in Burhanpur, Madhya Pradesh, has resurfaced on social media. The footage shows the child visiting the Dehsatalai police outpost to file a complaint against his mother.

The dispute reportedly began when the child insisted on eating chocolate or candy while his mother was attempting to bathe him and apply traditional markings. Following a reprimand from his mother, the child demanded that his father take him to the police.

During the interaction, Sub-Inspector Priyanka Nayak engaged with the child, who claimed his mother stole his chocolate and hit him, requesting that she be sent to jail. To accommodate the child's innocence, the officer pretended to write down the formal complaint on paper, allowing the boy to sign it with scribbles.
