Buritama authorities capture 3.5-meter anaconda

Authorities in Buritama, São Paulo, captured a 3.5-meter anaconda near the banks of the Tietê River. The reptile was spotted in the João Simão Garcia Tourist Park, a popular leisure area, near a patch of water hyacinths.

The sighting was initially reported by children playing in the area. The Municipal Brigade responded to the scene to manage the situation and ensure the safety of park visitors. Following the capture, the snake was safely released back into its natural habitat.
