Burjassot kicks off two‑week August festival with free concerts and fireworks

Burjassot will host its annual patron saint festivities for Sant Roc from 1 to 16 August. The programme includes free concerts, popular activities and nightly pyrotechnic displays across the town.

Key events feature a free concert by Spanish singer Carlos Baute on 12 August, followed by a performance by pop group Maldita Nerea the next night. Other highlights include a family day on 9 August with games, horchata and pastries, a traditional sausage tasting on 11 August, and the iconic “Gran Coetà” fireworks show on 14 August.

The schedule also incorporates the traditional Sant Roc procession, a series of DJ sets, and performances by the Orquestra Platino, offering residents and visitors a blend of modern music and long‑standing local customs.
