Burkina Faso approves 104 billion FCFA for electrification and administrative reforms

During a Council of Ministers meeting presided over by President Ibrahim Traoré, the Burkina Faso government approved several key measures. A significant 104 billion FCFA project was authorized to boost the country's electrification rate. This funding aims to expand the national grid, connect new localities, and reduce the energy gap between urban centers and rural areas.

In addition to energy initiatives, the Council adopted a new methodological guide for job descriptions within the public administration. This update, managed by the Ministry of Servants of the People, incorporates new roles such as school and university managers and economic affairs administration. The guide applies to local authorities, state-owned enterprises, and independent administrative authorities, focusing on ideal profiles and equitable employment practices.
