Burkina Faso associations celebrate academic excellence in Bousséra and Gomblora
Educational associations in Burkina Faso have held ceremonies to celebrate academic excellence for the 2025-2026 school year.
In the rural commune of Bousséra, the Association pour le développement du département de Bousséra (ADDB) hosted its first Excellence Day. The event honored outstanding students and teachers to encourage future academic engagement. Local statistics showed a 84.2% success rate for the CEP, a 60.16% rate for the BEPC, and a 93.75% success rate for the baccalaureate.
Similarly, in the Ponalatéon canton of Gomblora, the Association Sy Soung-taa Sy Daimin Kaa organized its third annual excellence day. The initiative focused on promoting education and preserving cultural identity. Top performers received various rewards, including bicycles, school kits, coverage of sixth-grade tuition fees, and university registration support for baccalaureate graduates.
