Burkina Faso graduates 509 teachers in “Patriotes” ceremony

The 2024‑2026 cohort of the Institut national de formation des personnels de l’éducation (INFPE) in Burkina Faso, dubbed “Les Patriotes”, held its official graduation in the Oubri region. The 509 newly qualified educators pledged to serve with exemplariness, rigor, dedication and patriotism, with delegation leader Nagalo Ismaël emphasizing their responsibility to the nation.

The ceremony, overseen by Minister of Basic Education, Literacy and Promotion of National Languages Jacques Sosthène Dingara, highlighted the government’s focus on quality training and patriotic commitment. Dingara urged the graduates to become role models of integrity, discipline and civic values, linking their work to nation‑building in a context still affected by security challenges.
