Burkina Faso ministry addresses exam errors in Koudougou

The Ministry of Servants of the People in Burkina Faso has addressed an incident involving the 2026 direct recruitment exams for the Institute of Public Finance (IFPB) and health services managers. Following concerns that exam papers from the Koudougou testing center were not fully accounted for, technical verifications confirmed a partial inclusion of copies from that location.

In response, the National Steering Commission for Competitions suspended all ongoing deliberations. A comprehensive audit was launched to review correction data for all exams, including those already published and those currently in the verification phase. This audit revealed that the issue also affected the recruitment exam for 53 health services managers in Koudougou.

Rodrigue Oboulbiga, president of the commission, stated that aside from these two specific cases, all other scanned copies from all testing centers had been correctly processed. The ministry emphasized its commitment to transparency and the use of electronic correction to ensure the credibility of the public service recruitment process.
