Burna Boy acquires custom 9 million euro Bugatti Chiron VXX

Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy has acquired a custom Bugatti Chiron VXX, estimated to be worth approximately 9 million euros (roughly 9 billion Naira). The unique hypercar was customized by the Dubai-based company Venuum and features a French racing blue exterior, a bold yellow number 7, and a bespoke interior with blue sport seats and gold grille patterns.

The acquisition, facilitated by Abuja Car, has sparked significant debate in Nigeria. Social commentator Geh Geh criticized the purchase as a “financial mistake,” questioning the practicality of owning such an expensive vehicle given Nigeria’s current economic hardships and poor road infrastructure.

Fellow music superstar Davido also reacted to the viral video of the vehicle's presentation in Lagos. While some observers have criticized the display of wealth, others have defended the artist's right to spend his earnings as he chooses.
