Burned Car and Unidentified Body Discovered Near Morelia, Mexico

Police in Michoacán responded to an emergency call reporting a vehicle engulfed in flames on the road from Chiquimitío to Morelia, near the La Inspiración neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers found a compact car completely burned and, a short distance away, the corpse of a man estimated to be 40‑45 years old. The victim displayed signs of violence, including bullet wounds to the back, though it was not yet clear whether he suffered injuries from the fire.

The scene was secured and investigators from the State Prosecutor's Office and the Specialized Crime Scene Unit collected evidence. The body was transferred to the forensic medical service for identification, while the wrecked vehicle was towed to an official lot for further examination. The investigation into the death continues.
