Burning Man Orgy Dome rebuilt following windstorm destruction

The Orgy Dome, a well-known installation at the Burning Man festival in Nevada, has been rebuilt following its destruction by a windstorm last year. The reconstruction was supported by grassroots donations and a contribution of 15,000 condoms, which will be distributed alongside lubricant and towels.

The installation operates within a 6,000-square-foot camp featuring different spaces, including a large tent for group activities and a smaller area for couples. Organizers have implemented a rule change prohibiting the donation of linens to prevent participants from skipping lines.

Strict protocols are in place to ensure participant safety and consent. Entry requires attendees to be at least 18 years old and to arrive with others rather than alone. Participants must undergo a mandatory seminar regarding consent and etiquette. Additionally, the use of phones, photography, alcohol, and drugs is strictly prohibited within the space to maintain a secure environment focused on mutual agreement.
