Burnley FC faces pressure amid poor results and home win drought

Burnley FC continues to struggle in the Championship following a 1-2 home defeat against Wolverhampton Wanderers. The club currently sits in 22nd place, having secured only two wins in thirteen matches under manager Nicky Hayen.

In addition to the poor league standing, the club is facing a significant home win drought, having not won a league match at home for a full calendar year. Despite substantial investments exceeding fifty million euros and the acquisition of players such as Jamie Vardy, the team has struggled to find form since their relegation from the Premier League.

When questioned about the possibility of dismissal following recent results, Nicky Hayen stated, “An dismissal? I don't know. But I am not thinking about that, because then you lose energy.” He noted that while such situations are normal, decisions regarding his position will be made at other times.
