Burnley FC sign French midfielder Ugo Raghouber from Lille

Burnley Football Club announced the signing of 23‑year‑old French defensive midfielder Ugo Raghouber from Ligue 1 side Lille on a four‑year contract. The transfer fee was not disclosed.

Raghouber spent nine years in Lille’s system, joining the academy at age 14 after an early spell at Torcy. He made his senior debut on loan at Le Mans in Ligue 3, then played for Dunkerque in Ligue 2, and later appeared in Spain’s La Liga with Levante on loan, making sixteen appearances.

He made his Lille first‑team debut in August of the previous season. After completing the move, he said he is “really happy” to be at Burnley, praising the club’s history and looking forward to the next chapter of his career.
