Burnley targets Genoa sporting director Diego López

Burnley is reportedly preparing new discussions with Genoa's sporting director, Diego López, as the English club seeks to strengthen its technical department. Following initial inquiries, Burnley is expected to make further contact early next week to gauge López's interest in joining their ambitious project aimed at returning to the Premier League.

López has informed Genoa of the approach, demonstrating transparency with his current club. While he reportedly values the ongoing technical and corporate project at Genoa, he is currently evaluating the English proposal. Genoa is already monitoring potential replacements to ensure they are prepared should he decide to depart.
