Burriana updates Teatre Payà regulations and lowers ticket prices

The municipal government of Burriana has updated the usage regulations and tax ordinances for the Teatre Payà. This marks the first revision of the regulatory framework since 2014.

The new ordinance aims to modernize the venue's management to meet contemporary cultural demands and economic contexts. Key changes include a generalized reduction in ticket prices for shows organized directly by the city council, as well as new discounts for student IDs and groups. Social exemptions and incentives for youth remain in place to increase cultural accessibility.

Technically, the update expands show contracting modalities. By adding two new options to the existing two, the municipality aims to attract large-scale productions that were previously difficult to host due to administrative and cost constraints.
