Bursa: Body of missing Istanbul man found in wheat field

The body of a 75-year-old man, identified as İ. B., was discovered in a plowed wheat field in the rural Adaköy neighborhood of Mustafakemalpaşa, Bursa. A passerby noticed a dark shape in the field accompanied by a dog, which led to the discovery of the deceased.

Preliminary assessments suggest the individual may have died approximately 10 to 15 days ago. Records indicate that a missing person report had been filed for İ. B. in the Esenler district of Istanbul on July 30.

Gendarmerie teams have launched an investigation to determine how the man traveled from Istanbul to the rural area in Bursa and the exact circumstances surrounding his death. The body has been moved to a morgue for an autopsy to establish the definitive cause of death.
