Bursa business leaders focus on economic transformation and export growth

İbrahim Burkay, Chairman of the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO), has emphasized the necessity for Bursa to lead economic transformation through digitalization, technology, and entrepreneurship. During meetings with various business sectors, Burkay highlighted the importance of integrating SMEs, tradespeople, and industrialists into a unified ecosystem to enhance the city's competitiveness.

In a related development, the Junioshow Bursa International Baby and Children's Ready-to-Wear and Needs Fair has opened at the Bursa Fair Center. Organized by BTSO in collaboration with BEKSİAD, the event aims to expand export opportunities for Turkish manufacturers. This year's fair marks a shift to a September schedule and hosts over 300 foreign buyers from 33 different countries, supported by the Ministry of Trade's UR-GE and purchasing delegation programs.
