Bursa Chamber of Commerce Announces New SME Ecosystem and Major Expansion Projects

Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO) Chairman İbrahim Burkay said the chamber will unveil a new SME‑focused ecosystem at the TEKNOSAB industrial zone in August. The launch will include the TEKNOSAB KOBİ Organized Industrial Zone, new organized trade areas, construction‑sector storage sites and several vision projects aimed at boosting small‑business growth in Bursa and Turkey. Burkay also highlighted BTSO’s recent seventh‑star accreditation from the Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB).

In related developments, the environmental impact assessment for a bus‑manufacturing plant in İnegöl, to be built by Ulaşım İç ve Dış Ticaret A.Ş., received a positive outcome, moving the project forward. Additionally, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure confirmed that test runs for the Bandırma–Bursa–Yenişehir–Osmaneli high‑speed train line are imminent, which will reduce travel times between Bursa, Ankara and Istanbul to about 2 hours 15 minutes.
