Bursa Deputy Mayor Biba Launches Orhaneli Göynükbelen Youth Camp

Bursa Metropolitan Municipality’s Youth and Sports Department opened the Orhaneli Göynükbelen Youth Camp on 3 July 2026, running until 30 August 2026. Deputy Mayor Şahin Biba visited the site, spoke with participants and highlighted the municipality’s commitment to the development of young people through “artistic, sporting and educational activities in a nature‑based setting.”

The three‑day camp program offers a mix of adventure sports such as orienteering, zip‑line, archery, basketball, volleyball and football, as well as cultural workshops including ebru art, mangala, fire‑fighting drills, first‑aid and radio‑communication training. Young attendees praised the experience, thanking the municipality for the opportunity.

The initiative is part of Bursa’s broader effort to provide structured holiday programmes that support physical, social and cultural growth for local youth.
