Bursa Efek Indonesia provides CSR aid for Flores earthquake recovery
The Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) has launched a series of corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives to aid earthquake recovery efforts in Flores, East Nusa Tenggara. Through the 'Pasar Modal Peduli Flores' program, the exchange is providing essential supplies to affected communities, including basic food items, family kits, maternal and child necessities, medicine, and internet connectivity.
Dharma Setyadi, Director of Infrastructure Development and Information Management at KSEI, stated that the program reflects the solidarity and commitment of the Indonesian capital market to provide broader social benefits. In addition to the Flores relief efforts, the Indonesian capital market plans to extend humanitarian support to victims of forest and land fires in Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan.
