Bursa factory worker killed in forklift accident

A 24-year-old worker, Eray Altıntaş, died following an industrial accident at a paint factory in the Tahtalı neighborhood of the Nilüfer district in Bursa.

The incident occurred while Altıntaş was attempting to lift an iron block using a forklift. The block reportedly slipped from the forklift and fell onto him. Emergency medical teams arrived at the scene and confirmed his death. Following an investigation by the prosecutor's office, his body was transferred to the Bursa Forensic Medicine Institute morgue.

Reports indicate that Altıntaş had been involved in a separate accident approximately 10 days prior. In that incident, an ATV accident resulted in the death of his friend and left Altıntaş injured. Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the fatal factory accident.
