Bursa firefighters Halil and Ahmet Şahin share the same profession

Halil Şahin and his son, Ahmet Şahin, are working together as firefighters for the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department. Halil Şahin began his career as a driver for the department in 1998.

Inspired by his father and a childhood fascination with fire engines, Ahmet Şahin pursued specialized education in the field, attending the Tophane Industrial Vocational High School and later the Kocaeli University İzmit Vocational School for Civil Defense and Firefighting. He joined the department in 2016 and has served as a firefighter for approximately 10 years.

The father and son expressed pride in sharing the same profession and working side-by-side, noting the importance of their role in protecting lives and property during emergencies.
