Bursa hosts Sarajevo students for sister-city exchange

The second annual student exchange program between the sister cities of Osmangazi and Stari Grad has commenced. Organized through the cooperation of Osmangazi Mayor Erkan Aydın and Stari Grad Mayor İrfan Čengić, the initiative aims to strengthen brotherhood ties and allow young people to experience different cultures firsthand.

Seventeen students from Vrhbosna Primary School in Sarajevo visited Bursa to participate in the program. During their first day, the students visited the Panorama 1326 Bursa Conquest Museum to learn about the city's history and the founding period of the Ottoman Empire.

The visit included a city tour via double-decker bus through historical districts such as Emirsultan, Altıparmak, Muradiye, and Tophane. Additionally, the students visited the Haraççıoğlu Medrese and the Osmangazi Municipality Stray Animals Natural Life and Treatment Center.
