Bursa infrastructure projects focus on sewage and rainwater lines
Bursa Metropolitan Municipality and BUSKI are conducting infrastructure improvements in the Osmangazi district. In the Hüdavendigar neighborhood, workers are renewing 170 meters of existing sewage lines and constructing 170 meters of new rainwater drainage lines, totaling 340 meters of infrastructure work. This project aims to improve wastewater discharge and reduce flood risks during heavy rainfall.
These efforts are part of a larger infrastructure mobilization involving 17 districts that began in April. In September alone, the municipality completed 17 kilometers of drinking water lines, 16 kilometers of sewage lines, and 6.2 kilometers of rainwater lines. Additional works included 27,500 square meters of paving, 40,000 tons of asphalt application, and over 6,000 meters of stream cleaning.
