Bursa Knitted Fabric enters concordat process in Turkey

Bursa Knitted Fabric Tekstil Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi has entered a concordat process following financial difficulties. The Bursa 3rd Civil Court of First Instance has granted a three-month temporary respite period for the company and Aykut Ekerbiçer, effective from October 1, 2026.

Operating for over 20 years in the Bursa Organized Industrial Zone, the company specializes in woven fabric production using armure and jacquard technologies, maintaining a portfolio of over 500 fabric types. The firm serves as a supplier for major international and domestic brands, including Zara, H&M, DeFacto, Mavi, and LCW.

A three-person temporary concordat commission has been appointed to oversee commercial activities and evaluate the possibility of a successful restructuring. The commission includes legal expert Gülşah Kavak, SMMM Engin Dinçeli, and SMMM/independent auditor Vesile Bakırcı. During this period, new enforcement proceedings against the debtors are suspended, though proceedings for claims secured by collateral may continue without the seizure or sale of the pledged assets.
