Bursa landlord arrested for killing tenant

A landlord in the İnegöl district of Bursa has been arrested for the intentional killing of a tenant following a dispute. The incident began during an argument between Enver Ayaz, 70, and his tenant, Kılıçhan Şahin, regarding a storage area in a shared building space.

Following a physical altercation that resulted in Ayaz sustaining a head injury, the landlord allegedly retreated to his apartment and fired a shotgun from his balcony. The shot struck Şahin in the chest. Despite being transported to İnegöl State Hospital, Şahin succumbed to his injuries.

Ayaz was released from medical care after being treated for a suspected brain hemorrhage and subsequently appeared before a judge. He has been formally arrested on charges of intentional homicide.
