Bursa Metropolitan Chamber Orchestra prepares for new season

The Bursa Metropolitan Chamber Orchestra, operating under the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, is preparing for its upcoming season with a focus on local talent and national compositions. Chief Conductor Hakan Şensoy announced that the new program will feature works by Turkish composers in every concert.

Starting in January, the orchestra aims to provide professional stage opportunities for young soloists selected from Bursa. To strengthen its roster, the orchestra will hold auditions for new members on November 14 and 15. The official season is scheduled to begin on November 30.

A special preview concert will take place on November 2, featuring prominent Turkish opera artists Tuncay Kurtoğlu, Zafer Erdaş, and Tevfik Rodos. The initiative, supported by Deputy Mayor Şahin Biba, seeks to enhance the cultural and artistic life of the city.
