Bursa Philosophy Meetings launch in Turkey
The Bursa Philosophy Meetings have launched through a collaboration between the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality and Bursa Uludağ University. Held at the Tayyare Culture Center, the inaugural event featured Prof. Dr. Ferudun Yılmaz, who spoke on the theme ‘A Changing World, A Shaken Human: New Crises in Economy, Culture, and Politics’.
The discussion focused on how rapid economic, cultural, and political transformations impact human existence and social structures. The program addressed the philosophical and sociological dimensions of the existential crises facing individuals in a modern, rapidly evolving world.
The lecture series is scheduled to continue monthly until May 2027. Future sessions will feature various academics and explore diverse topics including science, artificial intelligence, truth, family, and the future.
