Bursa Technical University researchers launch differential geometry project
Academics at Bursa Technical University (BTÜ) have launched a new research project focused on differential geometry, titled ‘Trans-para-S-Manifolds’. The study has been awarded support through the TÜBİTAK 1002-A Program.
Led by Research Assistant Mustafa Özkan with Professor Dr. İrem Küpeli Erken serving as an advisor, the project investigates ‘trans-para-Sasakian manifolds’. These complex geometric structures are essential for understanding mathematical spaces and provide a theoretical foundation for various scientific fields.
The research aims to uncover new classes of manifolds and provide a mathematical framework that can be applied to mathematical physics, geometric flows, general relativity, and space-time geometry.
