Bursa Technical University signs multiple academic cooperation agreements in Uzbekistan

Bursa Technical University (BTU) led by Rector Prof. Dr. Naci Çağlar visited Uzbekistan to strengthen academic links within the Turkic world. The delegation, accompanied by Vice‑Rector Prof. Dr. Barış Tamer Tonguç and Turkish ambassador Ufuk Ulutaş, met officials at several institutions.

During the trip BTU signed cooperation protocols with Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent, Samarkand State Institute of Architecture and Construction, Bukhara Technical University and Bukhara State University. The agreements cover joint engineering, technology and sustainable‑development projects, student and staff mobility, and collaborative research initiatives.

Çağlar emphasized that the partnerships aim to build "strong science bridges" rooted in shared history and culture, expecting to boost regional research output and technology development.
