Bursa to host 5th International Gastronomy Festival

The 5th International Bursa Gastronomy Festival, themed ‘Conquering Flavors,’ will take place at Merinos Park on September 18, 19, and 20. Organized by the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, the event aims to promote the city's deep-rooted culinary culture to national and international audiences.

The festival will feature 165 stands, including local producers, women's cooperatives, and international sister cities. Participants from 12 sister cities across 10 countries—including Nicosia, Mogilev, Pleven, Sarajevo, Ningbo, and Kazan—will prepare and serve their regional dishes while experiencing Bursa's traditional cooking techniques.

Visitors can explore various themed areas such as Green Street and White Street for geographically indicated products, and Red Street for national flavors. The program includes approximately 20 gastro-talks and cooking shows, featuring renowned chefs such as Arda Türkmen and Danilo Zanna.
