Turkey reports multiple fatal shootings and traffic accidents

Turkey has experienced a series of violent incidents and fatal accidents across several provinces. In Antalya, İlhan Kaval, an employee of the Van Metropolitan Municipality, was killed in a targeted armed attack in the Konyaaltı district. Witnesses reported that the assailant fired 13 shots at Kaval’s vehicle and had been waiting in the area for some time. The incident is believed to be linked to a long-standing feud involving the Kaval family.

Other fatal incidents include a fatal stabbing in Zonguldak involving a 19-year-old, a fatal collision in Burhaniye where a teacher on a bicycle was struck by two cars, and a fatal crash in Bursa where two security guards died after their car collided with a jeep. In Istanbul, a cameraman died following a collision between a car and an excavation truck in Beykoz.

Additionally, multiple traffic accidents resulted in injuries, including a bus rollover in Afyonkarahisar that injured 22 people, and a crash in Kahramanmaraş where three medical workers were critically injured while responding to another accident.
