Bursa Uludağ University Hospital extends blood donation hours

Bursa Uludağ University (BUÜ) Hospital Blood Center has extended its blood donation hours to improve accessibility for voluntary donors. The center now accepts donations every day of the week between 08:30 and 23:30.

This adjustment aims to provide more flexible options for students, employees, and citizens who may not find time during standard daytime hours. While donation hours have been extended, the hospital continues to provide transfusion services on a 24/7 basis to ensure the timely and safe meeting of blood and blood product needs for patients.

Prof. Dr. Halil Sağlam, Chief Physician of BUÜ Hospital, emphasized the importance of social responsibility and regular blood donation. He noted that maintaining blood stocks is a continuous necessity rather than just an emergency requirement, inviting all citizens to contribute to saving lives.
