Bursa's Osmangazi district holds Turkish folk music end‑of‑term concert

The Osmangazi Municipality Turkish Folk Music Group performed its season‑ending concert at the historic Ördekli Cultural Center in Bursa. Conducted by Fatih Şengöçmen, the program featured choral renditions of classic Turkish folk songs that drew strong applause from a fully‑filled audience. Council members Burak İleri and Aykut Büyükdere, CHP Bursa deputy chair İsmail Altay and many local residents attended the event.

Mayor Erkan Aydın presented a commemorative plaque to conductor Şengöçmen, thanking the group for its contributions to the city’s cultural life. The concert underscored the municipality’s ongoing support for arts and community engagement in the region.
