Bursa's Osmangazi opens Yaşar Kemal Medeniyetler Library and Conference Hall

The Osmangazi Municipality in Bursa inaugurated the Yaşar Kemal Medeniyetler Library and Conference Hall inside Hisar Archaeopark on 31 July. The centre houses roughly 1 500 items covering civilization history, archaeology, and cultural heritage, and is intended as a research and learning hub for students, scholars and history enthusiasts. A conference hall on the premises will host panels, talks and cultural events.

The opening ceremony was attended by former Northern Cyprus President Ersin Tatar, who delivered a conference titled “Middle East, EU and the Cyprus Issue,” addressing regional developments and the current dimensions of the Cyprus problem.
