Bursa's Osmangazi Women's Theatre Project Receives Acclaim

The Osmangazi Municipality in Bursa hosted the play “Siz Hangi Masaldan,” performed by an all‑women troupe from Kükürtlü Mahallesi. The group, composed of volunteers from various occupations, adapted classic fairy‑tale heroes to contemporary life and highlighted themes of solidarity and empowerment.

Deputy Mayor Mutlu Esendemir attended the performance and praised the project, noting its strong community response. Local officials, including the neighbourhood muhtar, thanked the municipal mayor Erkan Aydın for his support. Director Önder Uyumsal emphasized that the troupe is the first all‑women theatre team in Bursa, underscoring its novelty and social‑responsibility focus.
