Yıldırım Municipality launches international miniature art competition

Yıldırım Municipality has launched applications for the 2nd Yıldırım Miniature Competition, themed "600 Years of Heritage." The international contest aims to preserve and promote the cultural significance of Erguvan Bayramı, a tradition linked to the legacy of Emir Sultan that has been observed in Bursa for approximately six centuries.

Artists from both Turkey and abroad are invited to depict the spiritual values and history of Bursa through the art of miniature. The competition offers substantial prizes, including 100,000 TL for first place, 80,000 TL for second, and 60,000 TL for third, along with various incentive and exhibition awards.

Applications remain open until March 19, 2027. Results will be announced on April 1, 2027, followed by an award ceremony and exhibition on May 7, 2027.
