Burton appoints Caroline Brown to Board of Directors

Burton Snowboards has appointed Caroline Brown to its board of directors. Brown previously served as the global brand president for The North Face and has held executive leadership roles at Donna Karan International, DKNY, Carolina Herrera, and Akris.

Her professional background also includes serving as a managing director at the New York-based investment firm Closed Loop Partners, where she focused on sustainable solutions in the fashion and beauty sectors.

This appointment follows recent leadership changes at the Vermont-based company, including the naming of Denny Bruce as CEO to succeed interim CEO Donna Carpenter. Burton Board Chair Donna Carpenter stated that Brown’s expertise in performance, fashion, and innovation will help the brand evolve and reach new consumers as it enters its next chapter.
