Burundi President Ndayishimiye promotes national unity and anti-corruption

Burundian President Évariste Ndayishimiye has launched several initiatives aimed at strengthening national cohesion and governance. During a religious gathering organized by the Oasis Christian Center Burundi in the Kinindo zone, Ndayishimiye called for national unity and the rejection of divisions. He emphasized the importance of patriotism, solidarity, and the Kirundi language as tools for social cohesion, urging citizens to pass these values to younger generations.

In a separate move to improve state administration, the President officially launched the National Strategy to Combat Corruption and Economic Malpractice.
