Ten Bulgarian tourists were injured in a collision between a passenger bus and a heavy truck near Edirne, Turkey. The incident occurred around 01:30 near the Kapikule border crossing on the road between Edirne and the border. The bus was traveling from Ruse, Bulgaria, to Istanbul with 51 tourists and two drivers on board.

Witnesses, including the owner of the transport company, reported that the bus attempted to avoid a truck parked on the roadway without lights during heavy rain and fog. The collision caused fuel to leak, and emergency responders had to break windows to evacuate passengers.

Four of the injured individuals were hospitalized for observation in Edirne, including two women with broken limbs, but all have since been discharged. The travel agency has decided to return the entire group to Ruse rather than continuing the trip to Istanbul. The Bulgarian Consulate in Edirne is monitoring the situation and providing assistance.
