Bus conductor injured in Telangana after passenger dispute
A female bus conductor, identified as Pravallika, sustained fractures to both legs after allegedly being pushed off a TGSRTC Palle Velgu bus by a passenger in the Bhadradri Kothagudem district of Telangana.
The incident occurred following an argument over change after the passenger, Maunika, presented a Rs. 100 note to purchase a Rs. 10 ticket for her son. The altercation escalated near Mittagudem village in the Aswapuram mandal, resulting in the conductor falling beneath the rear wheels of the vehicle.
Pravallika was initially treated at Bhadrachalam Government Hospital before being moved to Hyderabad for further medical care. Police have registered a case against Maunika under Section 121 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for voluntarily causing hurt to a public servant. Maunika was taken into custody and later released on surety.
